Using corpora in discourse analysis. It is discussed on a new level because the interpretation and data analysis were carried out using cutting edge protocols. Or other members of the discourse community, and so on; all these have their advantages and disadvantages. The workshop follows on from a really great project between The Computer mediated discourse analysis; LSE museum and social media; Challenges for research; Ethics; Archiving and usability; Longevity (is it just a fad?) What is it for? Workshop discussion and some Twitter chat. It's a discussion that I think would be well worth continuing with more institutions to see what practices are already undertaken when it comes to dealing with social media and museums. Most of the papers in the corpus focus on the analysis of quantitative data, although the corpus also contains studies that use only qualitative research methodologies. Collected during recent fieldwork in Paraguay, I explore in this article the lexical semantic, semantic, and discourse properties of these nominal temporal markers and develop a semantic analysis that accounts for their meaning and use. We investigate language and dialect contact by analyzing these pronouns in a corpus of 63,500 verbs extracted from sociolinguistic interviews of a stratified sample of 142 members of the six largest Spanish-speaking communities in New York City.
